Batch Photo Scaling and Cropping With Automata Server

Automata Server makes editing photos easier by giving you tools to resize, resample, crop, and change DPI values. You can keep images' aspect ratios when resizing them, change the DPI resolution when updating metadata, and crop images to get the aspect ratio you want.

Batch edit photo dimensions

When adjusting image dimensions in Automata, if you set only the width or height, the software will automatically calculate the corresponding value to maintain the aspect ratio. You can also set maximum pixel width or height to scale down images, preserving the aspect ratio. These settings apply specifically to landscape or portrait images without affecting the other orientation.

Resample photos

Using Automata's resolution tool, you can easily adjust the dots per inch (DPI) resolution of your images. Automata Pro updates the DPI values in the photo's metadata accordingly.

Adjust DPI values

If you prefer to update the metadata DPI values without resampling the pixels, simply follow these steps:

1. Set the desired DPI value.
2. Set the "Scale images" value to 100%.

Automata Pro updates the DPI values in the photo's metadata accordingly.
